The majestic Hotel des Artistes exemplifies prewar architecture at its finest. It was designed by notable architect George Mort Pollard, and the building has been home to many celebrities and other well-known individuals. The white glove services include amenities such as a large swimming pool, two workout rooms, a squash court with basketball hoop, and a furnished and planted roof deck. There is a 24-hour concierge, elevator operator and fabulous resident manager. Pied-a-terres are allowed on a case-by-case basis.

The legendary Café Des Artistes is currently being reimagined with an anticipated opening around Christmas. The original Cafe des Artistes was a popular gathering spot for artists, musicians, writers, and actors dating back to the early 1900's. It will offer room service and a 15% discount to residents.

The Hotel des Artistes is located on one of the most desirable tree-lined blocks on the Upper West Side right next to the 67th entrance to Central Park. Sheep's Meadow is just steps from your door. This lovely block was known as "Artists Row' because of the many artist studios on West 67th Street. It is famous for its beautiful lighted trees that glisten after dark.
